This is one of the most underrated exercises that probably has all the benefits an athlete would want. Jump Rope is an exercise that is predominantly done by boxers. Why, because of the rhythm involved and the speed aspect. Also important is the hand to eye coordination. My theory as to why jump rope is underrated is that it takes awhile to get proficient at it. I've just started it myself and already it feels addictive. I end almost every workout with 20-30 minutes of this. Watch the videos and try it out, you will love it once you start.
